So our vegetables may have been less than successful this year since we only harvested arugula, snap peas, tomatoes, and pretty soon pumpkins, but our flower garden has really taken off! Every other day I am able to go outside and cut some blooms from the dahlias, wildflowers, and snapdragons. I love having a little cutting garden in the backyard! I can't say it really saves me any money since Halfmoon Farm sells giant dahlia bouquets for $5 (on the honor system!) right down the street, but you can never have enough flowers in the PNW this time of year. The growing season is just too short so, I will enjoy them while I can!

I'll have my very own Gladiolas soon!
JSM picked a bunch of flowers this morning and made this bouquet for me!
The pumpkins are growing out of control.....
and getting very big! I'm so impressed with JSM!
We are about to have tomatoes! Finally! Who cares if it's almost September?
