The farmers market opened in mid March and I am so glad to see it's back again already! It's the first sign around here that spring is on it's way. But, don't believe everything you see! Last Wednesday we woke up to a couple inches of snow on the ground....
Driving into the neighborhood....
Little House
Thankfully, the snow melted by the end of the day and we were back to decent weather. Last Saturday was glorious and I had to get outside. I work on Saturdays and I had been eyeing the blue sky from the fifth floor of the library for hours. So, on my lunch hour I took twenty dollars and my camera down to the Vancouver Farmer's Market in Esther Short Park. Sadly, I didn't get very far into the market before I spent all my money.....
on flowers (but of course!)
eggs (I love that one is.....blue?)
and salad greens that JSM can plant just like that....in the container and all!
I'm so glad to be home and settling back into our routine and our ever growing list of projects. I hope to get started on the "office in a closet" conversion in the den and JSM is working out our landscaping design for the front yard and gardening plans for the back. Maybe we'll get bees, maybe we'll get chickens, but one thing's for sure.....we're really glad that spring is here to stay for awhile. Hopefully, we can get some things done!
