It's A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood!

For the first time this year the temperature gauge reached 60 degrees (64 at its highest to be exact) and the sky was blue all day long! It was a beautiful day in Brush Prairie and I couldn't resist a few photos while I was out and about. I always carry an umbrella, my sunglasses, and a little camera - you never know which one you'll need. Today, I'm glad I had my sunglasses and the camera!

People travel from all over the US to Washington, DC, every year to see the Cherry Blossoms. If you live in Washington state you don't have very far to go to see these beautiful trees in bloom!

The tulips have come and gone already. These hydrangeas now grace the door stoop and the nursery said these beauties are supposed to bloom all summer....I hope it's true!

Mt. Hood came out today!

Now that we had some trees cut down we have 10 hours of sun a day in the backyard....and a view of this birds' nest we had no idea existed.

The grass is growing, the grass is growing! Who cares if its spindly and an electric shade of green? JSM has been working so hard to get any of our lawn back and the progress is tremendous (trust me!) I will no longer question his landscaping judgement - I promise!
