Lilly Pulitzer, the Palm Beach icon known for outlandish prints, bright colors, and sheath dresses is transforming boxes of Barnum's Animal Crackers with signature designs. I stumbled upon my box at a Fred Meyer location in Vancouver, WA, hiding between the Oreo cookies and the Chips Ahoy. I could hardly believe my eyes! I can spot a Lilly design from a mile away and when I see Lilly in this part of the country it's usually on clearance at Marshalls, not at the grocery store, and certainly not on anyone around here! I am still a Florida girl at heart and I just can't let some things go including my love for Lilly. So instead of a sheath dress I wear my pink Lilly sweater, polos, and pajamas, and write notes to friends back home on Lilly stationery!

It is an unusual partnership indeed that left me wondering if these boxes of animal crackers were really for the kids......or for the moms?
