....it's cold and dark at 4:30 pm and the temperature hasn't gotten above 35 degrees F since last Wednesday, what to do? Drink hot chocolate? coffee? tea? Listen to Christmas music? Wrap Christmas presents? Curl up with a novel? Yes, yes, yes, and yes.....OR, I could reminisce about the most amazing trip we just took and go through the photos we had taken. We took said vacation in order to go on an "adventure". We'd been together 10 years (that's a decade, folks!!) and married for almost 7! Kids have been a little hard to come by and we wanted to do something fun and exciting that we might not be able to do otherwise, so we decided to go just about as far away as you can get from Portlandia and we headed to Cape Town. While we were there we hired (OK, I hired) a professional photographer to capture this time in our lives in one of the most spectacular places we've ever seen.....we're smitten with each other and with South Africa!
